Nikau Remedies is a sister-run natural health business based in Kāpiti, led by Tordis and Tonja, who come from a family with a long connection to healing and have been using natural remedies for decades.
They make a broad range of natural remedies in small batches, including balms, creams, tinctures, sprays, homeopathic and flower remedies, tissue salts and other practical products for everyday wellbeing. Alongside their product range, they offer homeopathic and flower remedy consultations, giving people the opportunity to explore more individualised support.
Education is also a big part of what they do. Nikau Remedies runs workshops including Home Care with Natural Remedies, Children’s Care with Natural Remedies and Lotions & Potions, as well as training around birth remedies.
Their approach is practical and community-focused — helping people understand the options available to them and feel more confident using natural remedies in everyday life.
Tordis is based in Raumati South and offers acute and flower remedy consultations, while Tonja offers homeopathic consultations from Paekākāriki and online. Together they bring a mix of hands-on product making, practitioner experience and years of accumulated knowledge to the Nikau Remedies community.
